Detailed information about these objects is stored in a model database. Autodesk Advance Steel is a BIM software that is used for modelling and detailing steel structures. With Prodesk Steel, you can transfer model between Advance Steel and Sumo , enabling great time savings.
Where the structural model is created in Sumo , Prodesk Steel will transfer the model to Advance Steel , typically where fabrication drawings are created. The reverse is also possible, the steel frame can be built in Advance Steel and imported to Sumo for analysis.
Prodesk Steel allows you to transfer an entire model or selected portions only.
